Acavallo therapeutic hind boots combine neoprene construction with permanent magnets to support your horse’s wellbeing.
The magnetic devices are designed to improve cellular function, providing natural therapeutic support from the hoof to the shin and throughout the horse’s body. These boots offer two functions in one: therapeutic support, plus support for the suspensory ligaments and containment of the tendon apparatus. They can be used during transport and to help decrease typical post-work swelling. Outer-surface protection at the pastern reduces wear from rubbing, while elastic hook-and-loop straps are calibrated to support the tendons and provide comfort and a secure fit.
Each permanent magnet is made from a strongly magnetic alloy of neodymium, iron and boron with a nickel coating, and can exert a magnetic induction of up to 2,600 Gauss. The magnets’ layout, flux density, intensity and polarization were developed in collaboration with veterinarians and professional riders to maximize localized increases in vascular blood flow and lymphatic circulation.

Care Instructions
- Get the horse used to using it gradually, as it may initially feel a slight tickling sensation due to the increased localized blood flow. For the first uses, it is therefore advisable to monitor the horse to prevent it from damaging the magnetic devices.
- Can be used on horses of all ages and sexes, if necessary permanently when at rest.
- Wear only at rest, when the horse is cold, to avoid possible discomfort that could irritate its behavior.
- Not for use in paddocks or dynamic activities (e.g. walking, working on flat land, etc.)
