Air-Release Soft Gel Pad - Black
The Acavallo® Hexagonal Air Release Gel Pad features a solid structure with hexagonal cells that allow air to circulate across the horse’s back. It provides both grip and shock absorption, helping to keep the saddle stable and reduce pressure on the horse’s back.
Holes positioned in each hexagonal cell allow air to compress inside the cells and escape as the horse moves, helping to prevent heat from accumulating under the saddle. This airflow also creates an air cushion that reduces pressure on the back muscles and absorbs shock. The pad helps prevent unwanted saddle movement forward, backward, and sideways, and the gel compensates for small irregularities in the horse’s back, making it suitable for slightly rounded backs.
The pad is thinner through the centre to better accommodate the withers and back, leaving more space between the saddle and gel for continuous air circulation. Acavallo® Classic Gel is hypoallergenic, non-toxic, and does not react negatively on contact with the skin, so the pad can be used directly against it. The gel can also be cut to adapt it to different saddles.

Care Instructions
- Machine wash at 30°C or hand wash in a bucket of water with a small amount of detergent.
- Do not use harsh detergents.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Do not expose to direct heat or strong sunlight.
- Allow to dry naturally.
