The Acavallo® Mullen ported D-ring bit is made from an innovative, anti-allergic plastic material reinforced with an integrated, flexible steel line. It offers an alternative to traditional heavy, cold metal alloys while providing soft, secure control of the horse.
The one-piece design combines the mouthpiece and rings to help prevent one-sided compression or pinching of the tongue and jaws, while reducing unpleasant irritation on the palate. The port helps reduce pressure on the tongue and distribute it across the palate. This high level of comfort supports a better connection between horse and rider and allows for smooth movements.
