Mantegna dressage tilted cantle saddle - Black
The Acavallo® Mantegna dressage saddle is made from double calfskin and features latex panels and long blocks. Its tilted cantle offers the rider greater freedom of movement.
A variant of the Acavallo Raffaello dressage saddle, the Mantegna features a tree developed with particular care for the dressage line. Its narrow crotch helps the rider find the correct position with ease and provides comfort in the saddle. Technical and field research informed the particularly deep seat, which allows horse and rider to move as one during performance. A rubber profile protects the cantle.
The saddle’s MAG system is an opening adjustment system at the withers. Using the MAG Key, the rider can adjust the saddle to the horse’s morphology and choose its position independently for the best fit to each horse’s back. Each Acavallo saddle featuring the MAG system is supplied with an adjustment Allen key. The long blocks are designed to provide stability for the rider’s leg, while the large latex panels provide close contact with the horse and help distribute weight across its back. Covered in leather and felt and padded with latex, the panels provide cushioning; the latex does not change shape or lose thickness over time. The materials are natural and hypoallergenic, and are described as adapting to and absorbing the stresses of work.
